Apple to add a new tooth bridge feature to iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

Apple is planning to add two new bridge-related features to the next-generation iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, according to a report from Bloomberg.

According to Bloomberg, the feature will allow users to place a second, smaller tooth on the back of the phone’s backside to prevent accidental drops and scratches.

It also will allow the company to improve the performance of its iPhone’s front camera, according the report.

Apple is set to release its next iPhone, codenamed “Kirin,” next week, with a launch that will mark the company’s second consecutive quarter with a significant upgrade in hardware.
